Constructed by Okamoto Studios, Ice Heart is a 10 foot tall heart of masonry scaled blocks of ice. Kaleidoscopic in nature, the ice blocks pick up the lights, colors and activity of Times Square, feeding off its natural chaos. Ultimately, Ice Heart is a celebration of the temporary nature of the Times Square Valentine installation. Left to run its own course, the heart will slowly transform, as it melts, eventually disappearing completely.
