The Circus has come to Town! The ever-fantastic Cirque du Soleil asked OKAMOTO STUDIO to join them for a night of unique performances in celebration of the Madison Square Garden opening of Wintuk. Decked out in full costume and make-up, we were staged around the space for a series of live carvings that highlighted the wintery theme of the show. We welcomed the children to touch our finished sculptures; some even picked up our little tools (with our guidance, of course) to help refine finishing details. What was it like being a member of the Cirque troupe for an evening? Priceless.
